   I bought my first river boat in 1985 and have been on alot of the major rivers in Alaska over the years, including the annual trip to the Copper river to take advantage of the excellent dip-net fishery available.We would always plan it so the largest number of friends could take advantage of the use of my boat to harvest their fish. Over the years, I would always be approached by strangers who also wanted to  have the advantage of being in the boat. Due to my winter seasonal employment and having the summers off, I decided to get my Coast Guard license and meet all the state requirements to start this business. I have always enjoyed teaching and watching people enjoy the fun of being on the water and being able to enjoy the wonderful resources that we have available in our great state!
